1. Introduction
These Terms of Service govern your use of the website www.sakarikos-tours.com and the transportation services provided by Sakarikos Tours, a company based in Lavrio, Attica, Greece. By booking our services or using this website, you agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Services
Sakarikos Tours provides private transfers, airport pickups and drop-offs, sports team logistics, corporate transportation, minibus and coach hire, and sightseeing tours across Greece. All services are subject to vehicle and driver availability at the time of booking. Sightseeing and day tour services cover transportation by a professional driver only. Entrance fees to archaeological sites, museums and attractions are not included and remain the responsibility of the passenger. These services do not constitute package travel arrangements within the meaning of EU Directive 2015/2302.
3. Bookings and Reservations
Bookings can be made through our website contact form, by email at info@sakarikos-tours.com, or by telephone. A booking is confirmed only when you receive written confirmation from us. We recommend booking at least 24 hours in advance, although we will endeavour to accommodate last-minute requests where possible.
4. Pricing and Payment
Prices are quoted in Euros and include VAT (ΦΠΑ) where applicable under Greek law. Prices are based on the details provided at the time of inquiry (route, number of passengers, vehicle type, date and time). Quoted prices include the vehicle, professional driver, fuel and tolls unless otherwise stated. Additional charges may apply for waiting time exceeding 60 minutes, changes to the agreed route or itinerary, and late-night or holiday surcharges where applicable. Any applicable waiting time or surcharge rates will be communicated to you at the time of booking or prior to the journey.
5. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup are free of charge. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled pickup may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the quoted price. No-shows or cancellations at the time of the scheduled pickup will be charged the full quoted price.
6. Passenger Responsibilities
Passengers must provide accurate pickup information, including flight numbers for airport transfers. Passengers are responsible for being at the agreed pickup location at the agreed time. All passengers must wear seatbelts at all times during the journey. Smoking, consumption of alcohol, and any illegal substances are prohibited in all vehicles. Any damage caused to the vehicle by passengers will be charged to the responsible party.
7. Luggage
Standard luggage allowance depends on the vehicle type booked. If you have oversized luggage, sports equipment, or an unusually large number of bags, please inform us at the time of booking so we can arrange a suitable vehicle. Sakarikos Tours is not liable for damage to luggage unless caused by negligence on our part.
8. Liability
Sakarikos Tours carries full insurance for all vehicles and passengers in accordance with Greek law. Our liability for delays is limited to circumstances within our reasonable control. We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather conditions, road closures, or other force majeure events. In the event of a vehicle breakdown, we will arrange an alternative vehicle as quickly as possible at no additional cost.
9. Changes to Service
If you need to change the date, time, route, or other details of your booking, please notify us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate changes, though they may be subject to availability and revised pricing.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hellenic Republic (Greece). Any disputes arising from these terms or the services provided shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Athens, Greece. In accordance with EU Regulation No. 524/2013, consumers may also submit disputes for online resolution via the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform at: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
11. Privacy and Data Protection
Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on our website at www.sakarikos-tours.com/privacy. By booking our services or submitting an enquiry, you acknowledge that your personal data will be processed as described therein.
